Mr. Mohamed Al Ansari Chairman
Mr. Mohamed Al Ansari is a well-recognized businessman in the United Arab Emirates.
After finishing his graduation, he went on to pursue higher education in the United States and returned in 1980 to take over the family business.
Under his able leadership and guidance, the company has grown from a two-branch operation with 20 employees in 1980 to its current state of more than 190 branches with over 2500 employees serving more than 2.5 million customers every month. His leadership has led the company to be the proud recipient of several awards, certifications, and recognitions including Dubai Quality Award, Sheikh Khalifa Excellence Award QAC, ISO 9001:2000, Superbrands award, etc.
He has been a member of the National Anti-Money Laundering Committee since 2001 and takes an active part in spreading the importance of collectively managing this highly important corporate social responsibility.
Besides Al Ansari Exchange, he also heads Al Ansari Financial Services and Al Ansari Real Estate.
Mr. Adeeb Ahamed Vice Chairman
Mr. Adeeb Ahamed is the managing Director of LuLu Financial Holdings, a global financial services provider based out of Abu Dhabi in the UAE. The company is in the remittances & banknotes business and manages over 220 branches of LuLu International Exchange in countries such as the UAE, Oman, Kuwait, Bahrain, India, Malaysia, Hong Kong, and the Philippines, with additional liaison offices in Bangladesh & India. The company also owns the LuLu Money payments app.
A Bachelor of Business Administration at Swiss Management School ‘Les Roches’ in Switzerland, Mr. Adeeb further honed his business skills after doing an MBA in International Management from Royal Holloway, University of London, UK. He comes with diverse experience in the service and hospitality sectors.
Mr. Adeeb also serves as the Director of Tablez - The Food Company, and Twenty14 Holdings – a hospitality investment company owning luxury assets across the world. Under his efficient leadership, LuLu International Exchange has now become a global brand and a preferred consumer choice in financial services, due to its high adherence to customer satisfaction, technological innovation, and business standards.
Mr. Rajiv. Raipancholia Secretary
Rajiv Ashok Raipancholia is the young and dynamic Director of Orient Exchange Co., a family-run exchange company operating in the UAE since 1923.
After completing B.A (Hons) in International Business - Finance & Economics in 2002 at the University of Manchester, Rajiv completed his post-graduation in Human Resource Management and Industrial Relations from the Manchester Business School in 2005. He honed his business skills by undergoing a brief apprenticeship in the Treasury & Trade Finance Departments of Mashreq Bank Dubai & Citi Bank, Singapore.
Under Rajiv’s leadership, Orient Exchange strives to improve the remittance business with a rapid-branch expansion to complement their well-established money exchange business.
Mr. Antony Jos Treasurer
Mr. Antony Jos is the Director of Joyalukkas Exchange an integral part of the Joyalukkas Group is a relatively new venture that has been gaining favour and is expanding rather rapidly, establishing its presence across UAE, Kuwait, & Oman.
He takes a vision and makes it a reality through sound strategy development. He was the key architect in transforming Joyalukkas Exchange from a three-branch operating company in Dubai to 57 outlets across the regions, making it a favorite money exchange network to customers by offering superior customer services and digital innovations.
Mr. Antony Jos holds an MBA from Edinburgh Business School, Heriot-Watt University, Dubai & UK, and Graduated in Accounting Management from Unitec Institute of Technology, New Zealand."
Imad ul Malik Joint Treasurer
Mr. Imad Ul Malik is the CEO at Sharaf exchange. Since 2015 to May 2021, he was the General Manager at Al Ghurair International Exchange, renowned as one of the youngest and dynamic business leaders in the industry with expertise in both operations and strategic management. With more than 20 years’ experience in the UAE exchange industry, Imad is a leader with deep knowledge of the exchange industry, with the strategic expertise and know-how to build business capabilities and drive scale-up models.
Under Imad’s leadership, Al Ghurair International Exchange became a major player in the industry and touched new heights in the remittance and bulk currency business. With a core vision of ‘Remitting Happiness’ he delivered on the broader purpose of ‘Enhancing Lives’.
Imad graduated from AMU, Aligarh with BCom Hons, before continuing with his studies at Dayanand Academy of Management Studies, Kanpur University, where he attained his MBA.
Mr. Osama Al Rahma Advisory Board Member
Mr. Osama Al Rahma is one of the founding member of FERG. He has occupied the roles of Chairman & Vice Chairman of FERG. Currently he is the Advisory Board Member for the group.
He has an experience in the remittance and payment industry for more than three decades. He has a lot of contributions towards elevating the standards of compliance and AML/CTF within the industry.
Mr. Osama worked at Al Fardan Exchange LLC and Al Fardan Group from 1993 in many leadership roles and was CEO since 2011 to 2020.
Mr. Al Rahma was the former Vice Chairman of Dubai Quality Group, a semi-government, non-profit organization and a former Board of Standard of the American Academy of Financial Management (AAFM). Mr. Al Rahma earned his postgraduate degree in Management Studies at the University of Hull, UK and a graduate degree in Electronics Engineering from the University of Bahrain. Mr. Al Rahma is an alumnus of the J.F. Kennedy School of Government’s Executive Program at Harvard University, in Dubai School of Government and also an alumnus at Queen’s University in Canada for Executive Courses in Strategy and Finance. He has passed several trainings and workshops in Zurich, New York, and Frankfurt.
